There's no denying the popularity and flexibility of Flash content for website enhancements as well as entertainment purposes. From animated banners to splash pages, presentations, and interfaces, Craig has created them all; including a couple of the most popular Flash soundboards you may have already seen around the Net.
When creating custom-designed websites, Craig is always looking for innovative ways to integrate Flash animations for added motion and interest on a web page.
For SouthernHomesAL.com he added a neat way to show off photos of one of the company's custom designed and built houses on the home page. Using a slightly tilted polaroid-type frame, the Flash element realisticly lays on the page while transitioning between different views of the custom home with a quick white flash for a photography effect.
When Craig was commissioned to create a redesigned website for Hammock's Heating and Air, one request was for more motion in the new layout. Since the company had just hired animator Mark S. Smith of MarkToonery.com to create their new cartoon television commercial, the obvious choice was to have him animate the logo featuring their mascot. Craig provided Mark the background to seamlessley integrate the animated logo into the website design and also created two other Flash animations for the site's header. While the company's van drives on screen and their slogan text drops into position, a separate Flash animates a looping lightning strike to go along with their "Lightning Fast Service" slogan.
The creation of
this custom designed website for cartoonist, illustrator and animator Jerry Fuchs gave Craig the perfect opportunity to add a Flash animation featuring the Fooksie.com fox mascot.
Using an animation by the artist, Craig integrated the blinking fox as part of the header and he sits on the navigation bar giving a sly grin and a cute, knowing blink on every page of the website.
When Craig designed a new website for Círculo de la Hispanidad he created a Flash animation for the home page that is the perfect example of how integrating Flash can make a page more interesting while not overpowering the content or hindering a user-friendly interface.
Something as simple as this photo slideshow with a nice animated text move looks amazing when it seamlessly blends into the website's custom design. Note how the slideshow continues to loop after the text fade-in and move has been completed.
Along with the design and code for this dual-website, Craig created the Flash introduction for the Serengeti-Design.com splash page.
Using the client's African-inspired theme, Craig designed this animation with smooth moving text to highlight the company's services timed perfectly to an appropriate piece of royalty-free music. The result is an attractive intro that is exciting and unique while also providing an enticing entry to both main sections of the site.
Each page of Serengeti-Design.com also has a unique Flash header created by Craig. These pictures with simple animated transitions give each page an original look with a different photo that enhances the site's Serengeti theme.
Craig created
this Flash soundboard as a tribute to one of his favorite Saturday Night Live
sketches - a VH1 Behind the Scenes parody
starring Christopher Walken as legendary producer Bruce Dickinson who insists
Blue Oyster Cult add just one thing while recording the song 'Don't Fear
the Reaper': MORE COWBELL!
Not only does this Flash soundboard contain over 25 sound clips from the sketch, but also allows you to play the cowbell itself (by clicking on Will Ferrell's character "Gene") and rock out to the full version of 'Don't Fear the Reaper' which is included in the 6.9 MB flash file. (please be patient for the file to load)
Craig
is the original creator of the web-famous Dr. Evil Soundboard which features
over 50 sound clips of everyone's favorite madman from Mike Myers' hilarious
Austin
Powers movies.
You've probably wasted hours with this fun Flash toy over at eBaum's World or one of the other many websites which mirror this file. You're welcome! :)

HTE,
Inc. wanted a very specific way to reveal their logo for the Home Theater Experience
website. What may seem a simple animation is actually
quite complicated, and took many hours of work in Photoshop and Flash. Add
some cool music and an appropriate sound effect and this is the result rendered
in QuickTime for superior sound and visual quality.
Craig also created a one-page business card style website for this client for them to present their contact information.
A custom
designed Flash splash page that features their logo and slogan to introduce
visitors to their website.
This is a good example of how a simple animation can enhance a site without being a huge download for visitors without broadband. This flash also has a small "loading" animation for those that do have to wait. As always Craig provided an easy way for repeat visitors to skip the introduction and go directly to the site's main page.
A
100 KB Flash animation with rollover links to the main sections of the 2nd
version of this website (c-eye.net).
Craig created this as an example of a splash page for his previous design for this site, but it was never used as an actual intro or "splash" page. Some links may not work due to the site redesign, but it remains here as another example of his work in Flash animation and interactivity.
